Over 30 years of progressive, international, corporate and consulting experience (more than 10 years at Plant Manager / Director / VP levels) with multinational market leaders. (Tampax, Playtex, Dunlop Slazenger, Wranglers, United Biscuits).

Held positions of increasing responsibility in line management roles, from Production Supervisor through Plant Manager to VP Manufacturing; and as Industrial Engineer, Distribution Manager, Quality Control and R&D Manager in staff/support positions. With several of these companies, played an integral, ‘hands on’ role in the successful implementation of modern management philosophies and techniques such as Toyota Sew System. Lean Manufacturing, TQM, ‘Just In Time’ (JIT), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), SPC, MRPII, Set Up Time Reduction, Employee Involvement and Team-Centered Manufacturing, resulting in substantial cost savings and operational improvements.

Trained and coached over 3000 Black Belts, Green Belts and Lean Six Sigma Champions and Sponsors through hundreds of initiatives in Canada and internationally, in diverse organizations such as Honda, GM, Chrysler, Bombardier Aerospace, Toshiba, Magellan Aerospace, Bruce Power, Ingersoll Rand, Shaw Communications, Husky, Solium Financial, Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities, Marsh McLennan Insurance, Banking, Astra Zeneca, Dynacare Labs, City of Mississauga and many other Government Institutions.

Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt 

Liviu Ibanescu is a widely recognized for his contribution in the Lean Six Sigma community and well respected professional, leading organizational cross-functional teams to significant operational and financial results. Liviu’s Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement journey started in early 90’s. At the current time, Liviu is the President and Senior Partner at the Lean Six Sigma Canada and a Founder Member of American Society for Lean Six Sigma. Before this, he held positions as senior Manager of Quality and Continuous Improvement with major North American Corporations.

In 2010 Liviu was the architect of the partnership between Lean Six Sigma Canada and Forrest Breyfogle. Lean Six Sigma Canada continue to present and deliver in North America and worldwide a series of ground-breaking Lean Six Sigma MBB and BB in-class training, instructed by the award winning author. Liviu continues to play a significant role around the world as ambassador and visionary, spreading his message of Lean Six Sigma, while actively participating in conferences, training and coaching.

ROD MORGAN

Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt 

Rod is one of Canada’s foremost Lean Six Sigma trainers and practitioners.  He draws on over thirty years of change management, quality systems deployment, project leadership, and organizational transformation, and has instructed and coached thousands of Black Belts, Green Belts and Champions in Canada and internationally.

Mr. Morgan was a founding member of e-Zsigma (Canada) Inc., Canada’s first premier supplier of Lean and Six Sigma consulting and training, where he served as Vice-President, Program Management and senior consultant/trainer for fourteen years.  For over 10 years, ending in 2017, Rod served as chief instructor for the Masters Certificate in Lean Six Sigma programs at the renowned Schulich School of Business and faculty for Schulich’s Masters Certificate in Healthcare Management program.  Rod is President of Sigma Plus Solutions, Inc., headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.

Rod has managed hundreds of successful improvement initiatives and Lean/CI cultural transformations in some of North America’s most notable companies and is frequently in demand as a speaker at conferences where he leverages his diverse experience in government, healthcare, supply chain, enterprise information technologies, retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, and finance.

Over the last ten years, a significant amount of his work has centered on supporting management teams and the front-line staff in major hospitals, primary and tertiary care centers, mental health, long-term care and a variety of local and federal government healthcare agencies, advising on the strategic deployment of Lean and quality strategies and providing training, coaching and mentoring.
